Hiring a Social Media Copywriter (English, Remote) - for TOAST
Hi, I’m Simran - posting this on behalf of our founder, Aditi.
At TOAST, we’re building something intentional - and if you’ve ever looked at a brand’s post and thought, “This could’ve been written better,” you might be one of us.
This isn’t your typical “we’re hiring” post.
This is a we-care-about-words-and-their-weight kind of post.
We’re looking for a social media copywriter - someone who can write with rhythm, research, and range.
Someone who doesn’t just fill captions but crafts them.
Not someone who asks ChatGPT to “make this sound witty.”
Someone who knows how to make words sound like a person.
What you’ll do
- Write social media copy — captions, carousel copy, and short-form campaigns — for TOAST and our clients.
- Adapt tone and style across different brands — from grounded to playful, bold to warm.
- Research before you write — understand the audience, industry, and intent behind every post.
- Collaborate with design and strategy teams so words and visuals flow seamlessly.
- Bring fresh ideas and creative angles for recurring content (launches, brand stories, campaigns).
