Position Summary

The position is responsible for managing Corrective and Preventive Maintenance (C&PM) activities for non-telecom systems across UAE sites, including DC Plants, Rectifiers, Generators, Solar Systems, Cooling Systems , and other critical infrastructure. The role ensures operational reliability, compliance with safety and quality standards, and optimal resource utilization to meet performance KPIs and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Maintenance Management
• Lead and oversee maintenance activities for all non-telecom systems, ensuring adherence to OEM, supplier, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently, systematically, and in compliance with E&'s operational standards.
• Team Leadership & Guidance
• Guide field staff in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Conduct regular field audits to ensure compliance with tools, test equipment, and safety protocols.
• Resource Optimization & Performance Monitoring
• Review productivity, work practices, and resource allocation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Incident & Fault Management
• Supervise system failure responses and planned outages.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports for management, insurance, or regulatory submissions.
• Ensure timely rectification of snags within defined SLAs.
• Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Enforce compliance with E& and customer HSE policies and standards.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure secure working practices at all sites.
• Vendor & Contractor Coordination
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors for maintenance schedules, site visits, and project data requirements.
• Manage outsourced operations and ensure contractual compliance.
• Planning & Reporting
• Plan and manage monthly preventive maintenance targets and snag closure activities.
• Represent the section in group meetings and contribute to management reports on Business Continuity, Contractor Governance, and BSS Inventory.
• Schedule regular hardware checks and follow-up activities for issue resolution.
• Field Operations
• Conduct independent site visits to ensure quality control and verify rectification progress.
• A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
