Creo / Solidworks Designer
Sone India is seeking a skilled Creo / Solidworks Designer to create, modify, and analyze 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and systems. This role is crucial for our manufacturing and product design needs, requiring proficiency in both Creo and Solidworks software , along with a strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
Key Responsibilities :
3D Modeling and Drawing Creation :
- Designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies using Creo and Solidworks.
Design Analysis :
Performing design validation tests and analyzing results to optimize product design.Collaboration :
Working with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, etc.) to ensure designs meet project specifications and manufacturing requirements.Documentation :
Creating detailed drawings, models, and documentation for manufactured parts.Continuous Improvement :
Supporting existing product design improvements and new development programs.Skills & Requirements :
CAD Software Proficiency : Solid experience with both Creo and Solidworks is crucial.Mechanical Design Knowledge : Understanding of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM) is essential.Communication Skills : Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and technical information with various stakeholders.Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify and resolve design issues throughout the product development lifecycle.GD&T : Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.FEA Analysis : Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis is often preferred.PLM Tools : Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools may be required.Typical Industry Focus :
