The Supply Chain Managers responsibilities include strategizing and planning supply chain operations, optimizing processes and systems, overseeing purchasing, inventory, transportation and warehousing, and negotiating with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies
• Oversee and manage complete supply chain process, including purchasing, inventory, transportation, and warehousing
• Analyse and optimize supply chain processes
• Negotiate with suppliers and customers
• Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and distributors
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
• Assess and manage operational and financial risks
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
• Develop and maintain detailed reports of supply chain metrics.
