Job Description
- Strategic Market Entry : Provide comprehensive legal support, due diligence support and strategic counsel for new market entries, international business expansions.
- Conduct legal risk assessments for international business activities and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Commercial Agreements : Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating wide range of international commercial contracts and agreements, including distribution agreements, supplier contracts, service agreements and licensing agreements.
- International Tenders : Provide end-to-end legal support for international tenders and institutional sales, including participation in pre-bid meetings, review of contracts, submission of bids, and seeking clarifications from tendering authorities.
- Financial Arrangements : Provide legal oversight on financing arrangements, including the review of lines of credit and EXIM bank arrangements for international distributors / buyers.
- Operations & Supply Chain : Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with shipping lines and other operational partners to ensure seamless international logistics and supply chain management.
- Automotive Assembly : Provide legal advisory and conduct meticulous due diligence for matters related to the assembly and manufacturing of automobiles in international markets.
- Sanctions & Regulatory Compliance : Provide advisory on a broad spectrum of international regulatory matters, with a specific focus on navigating complex trade sanctions, including those from OFAC, OFSI, and the UN Security Council.
- Monitor and provide updates on relevant legal developments in international automotive regulations and trade policies
The Successful Applicant
- Degree : LLB , LLM with a focus on international business law, trade law. And / Or certificate course / Diploma in International business law
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience practicing international business or corporate law, with a strong preference for candidates from the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise in managing complex international contracts, cross-border transactions, and corporate governance.
- Deep and demonstrable knowledge of international trade law, sanctions, and global regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
- Capability to work independently and manage high-stakes projects in a fast-paced global environment.
