We are seeking a motivated and energetic Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to join our Business Development team at Wooden Street. The ASM will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations, achieving sales targets, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and leading a team of store associates. Youll help ensure that the store runs efficiently while upholding the brandservice and visual standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support in developing strategies to grow the customer base, increase footfall, and maximize store profitability
- Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Ensure exceptional customer service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle store operations including inventory, compliance, and administrative tasks
- Maintain the stores visual standards and overall cleanliness
- Track buying patterns, customer needs, and sales trends to support business decisions
- Share innovative ideas to improve customer engagement and boost revenue
- Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend training plans for staff
- Address customer complaints and internal issues in a timely and professional manner
- Act as a role model for excellent customer service and professional conduct
- Take over Store Manager duties in their absence and support overall store management
Requirements
Proven experience in retail operations, preferably as an Assistant Store Manager or Senior Sales ExecutiveStrong leadership and people management skillsCustomer-first approach with the ability to handle escalations gracefullyGood organizational and multitasking skillsStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesEnergetic, proactive, and results-oriented mindsetGraduation in any stream preferredSkills Required
