Role Overview
As Category Lead, you’ll be responsible for driving end-to-end operational excellence — from vendor management and production planning, logistics, and cost optimization. You’ll bridge design, sourcing, manufacturing, and fulfilment — ensuring we deliver the right product, at the right time, at the right cost.
You’ll operate in a fast-growing environment where speed, systems thinking, and ownership matter more than hierarchy.
Key Responsibilities
Plan & Execute Supply Chain Operations : Build and manage production timelines across multiple factories (furniture, rugs, textiles) ensuring on-time delivery for export and D2C channels.
Vendor & Factory Management : Partner closely with manufacturing units to drive efficiency, capacity planning, and quality outcomes.
Demand & Supply Planning : Work with category, design and merchandising teams to translate forecasts into production and procurement plans.
Cost Optimization : Track landed cost per SKU, negotiate logistics and packaging costs, and constantly identify opportunities to improve margins.
Technology & Systems : Implement data-driven visibility tools to improve tracking, traceability, and reporting.
Logistics & Warehousing : Manage inbound shipments, consolidation, and export coordination from India to the Europe.
Cross-functional Coordination : Work with design, sourcing, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless order-to-delivery flow.
Ideal Candidate
8-10 years’ experience in supply chain / operations within home & living / D2C brands
Strong understanding of vendor management, production planning, and logistics.
Proven ability to manage multi-category supply chains (furniture, rugs, soft furnishings).
Comfort with data and tech tools (Excel, ERP / WMS, or similar).
Deep attention to detail, structured thinking, and bias for action.
Ability to work across time zones and manage communication between India and the Europe.
