Your New Role
As the Product Manager, Enterprise you will support the delivery of strategic data capability and be responsible for the development, deployment, adoption, and performance of Enterprise and Regulatory data products within AustralianSuper.
In this role, collaboration with stakeholders is pivotal to develop and deploy data products that meet business needs and drive value in the Enterprise Domain. Success will contribute to the Fund’s 2030 business strategy, resulting in the substantial improvements in outcomes for members.
Key duties include :
- Support the development of short-term and long-term roadmaps for the implementation of the Fund’s data management frameworks and tools, in line with the Fund strategy an departments business plans.
- Support and lead aspects of strategic data initiatives like creation of common data models, alternative data sources, streamlining dataflows, eliminating silos & redundancy by creating Foundational Data Assets (e.g. Common Data Model) on the Fund Data Platform, and rationalising the Fund’s data estate in the medium-long term.
- As a senior member of the Data Services team, contribute to establishment of the function and development of its capabilities, and contribute towards uplifting the Fund’s overall data capabilities and data risk posture.
- Proactively engage with colleagues across the Fund and contribute towards uplifting data management practices and the proper use of data to fully leverage its benefits.
- Lead initiatives to design, develop & deliver innovative data management solutions and improvement initiatives across allocated Data Domains. Conduct any required related activities including stakeholder management, change management and co-ordination and ensure timelines & milestones are met.
- Implement data management capability including data catalogue & business glossary, data definitions, mapping data lineage, identifying critical data elements, master and reference data management, performing impact assessments etc.
- Roll out the Fund’s data governance policies and standards and ensure adherence to internal and external compliance obligations.
What You’ll Need
Strong experience and expertise delivering data management outcomes in highly complex & technical projects & BAU environments.Advanced knowledge of the end-end data lifecycle, data management capabilities including metadata, data quality, master and reference data management.Advanced knowledge of data management best practices and data analysis techniques.Strong understanding of databases and data structures.Proficient in usage of IDE’s, database & data warehouse systems, metadata, data quality, master data and reference data management tools.Technical data skillsAdvanced skills in Excel & SQL
Intermediate skills in DAX, PowerBI skill, data modelling & transformationExperience in automating repetitive data management functions.Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to communicate highly technical topics to non-technical audiences, ideally with direct exposure to regulatory reporting & APRA guidelines.Strategic thinking ability and strong collaboration skills with experience working with regulatory reporting, finance & technology teams to deliver scalable data and reporting solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs to data products.Life at AustralianSuper
