Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain cum Procurement Manager with 15–17 years of experience in the engineering / manufacturing sector, capable of independently managing the entire purchase and supply chain team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, vendor management expertise, and a proven track record in cost optimization and procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the procurement and supply chain operations independently.
• Source and procure materials such as sheets, rods, pipes, structural steel, castings, and structural sheets.
• Interpret engineering drawings and designs to understand material specifications and requirements.
• Conduct vendor scouting and negotiations to ensure best pricing, quality, and lead times.
• Identify and implement cost reduction strategies across the procurement cycle. Maintain a strong understanding of the metal market trends and pricing.
• Manage job work processes such as laser cutting, bending, machining, CED coating, galvanizing, etc.
• Oversee and streamline end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement planning, logistics, and inventory management.
• prepare and maintain MIS reports related to procurement and supply chain performance.
• Foster strong vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance regularly. Lead and develop a team of purchase and supply chain executives. Travel as needed to source materials and inspect vendors / suppliers.
• Coordinate closely with production, design, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
