Automotive Systems Validation Engineer

Job descriptionAutomotive Test Lead to drive validation and verification activities across automotive software and electronic systems. You will be responsible for test planning, test strategy, execution oversight, defect analysis, and coordination with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery in compliance with automotive standards. Lead end-to-end automotive system and software testing activities Define test strategy, test plans, test design, and test coverage Develop and review test cases, test scripts, and test frameworks Manage and prioritize test execution, reporting, and defect tracking Ensure test delivery quality across HIL, SIL, MIL, and vehicle-level testing Coordinate test activities between internal teams, OEMs, and suppliers Conduct root cause analysis and support issue resolution with development teams Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR ISO 26262 ASPICE , and quality processes Mentor junior testers and drive continuous process improvement Create detailed reports, dashboard metrics, KPIs, and risk assessments 6+ years in automotive testing / embedded testing Strong knowledge in ECU validation , CAN / Ethernet-based communication, diagnostics ( UDS DoIP Hands-on experience with HIL test systems (dSPACE / Vector VT / NI) Knowledge of test automation tools & scripting ( CAPL Python , CANoe / CANalyzer) Good understanding of ADAS Powertrain Body ECU , or Infotainment systems Solid understanding of automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR) Experience with requirements & defect management tools (e.G., JIRA, DOORS, Polarion) Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics , or related field
