Role Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Finance to lead Zocket’s global finance operations. This role goes beyond managing numbers — it’s about architecting financial systems, shaping growth strategy, and driving profitability as we scale across multiple markets.

As the Head of Finance, you’ll partner directly with the leadership team to steer financial strategy, fundraising, compliance, and long-term business planning.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

Define and execute financial strategies aligned with Zocket’s long-term business vision.

Partner with the executive team to drive growth through data-driven insights and financial modeling.

Lead corporate planning, forecasting, and performance tracking against key growth metrics.

Oversee fundraising activities, investor relations, and capital allocation strategy.

Financial Operations & Governance

Establish a scalable finance organization with strong systems for accounting, controls, and reporting.

Drive the implementation of modern ERP and Saa S accounting tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Ensure adherence to global compliance standards including IFRS, SOC 2, and GDPR.

Manage statutory audits, board-level financial presentations, and investor reporting with transparency.

Cash Flow & Capital Management

Own the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management for global entities.

Optimize capital allocation to support product innovation and market expansion.

Build robust financial models to assess investments, profitability, and risk management.

Tax Strategy & Compliance

Oversee multi-country taxation including cross-border Saa S frameworks and transfer pricing.

Develop tax-efficient structures for scaling global operations.

Ensure timely compliance with all regulatory and legal financial requirements.

Risk Management

Establish financial risk frameworks, internal controls, and audit mechanisms.

Anticipate operational and currency risks associated with global Saa S operations.

Ensure robust governance and internal policy enforcement.

Leadership & Collaboration

Build and lead a high-performing finance team across geographies.

Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.

Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to balance growth with financial discipline.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA; MBA in Finance from a reputed institute preferred.

10–15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership , ideally in Saa S or high-growth tech startups.

Proven experience managing global accounts , preferably across India and the US.

Prior experience in fundraising, investor relations, and board-level financial reporting.

Exposure to Big 4 firms or global finance operations is a strong plus.

Technical & Strategic Skills

Deep understanding of Saa S metrics , ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, and subscription-based revenue recognition.

Proficiency with financial systems like Quick Books, Tally, ERP tools, Chargebee, Stripe, and Salesforce.

Proven ability to build financial models and use data analytics for strategic decision-making.

Strong grasp of compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks in a global context.
