As a Mainframe Network System Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Network environments. You will work closely with application developers, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our Network systems to meet business requirements effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Mainframe Network system Engineer, with a deep understanding of VTAM / TCPIP architecture, internals, and administration.
- Proficiency in Network administration tools and utilities, such as NDM, SOLVE, Netview
- Strong knowledge of OSPF resource definition, traffic routing, and security concepts.
- Experience with Network performance monitoring and tuning techniques, including system tracing, performance counters.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex CICS-related issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement, with a passion for staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices in Mainframe Network administration.
