Position Overview :

Keus, India’s leading brand in luxury smart home automation, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in 3D CAD modeling using PTC Creo to research, model, and prototype IoT hardware products. You’ll work closely with the design and production teams to develop mechanical components, assemblies, and validation prototypes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create and modify 3D CAD models of mechanical components and assemblies using PTC Creo.
  • Prepare detailed 2D drawings for tooling, machining, fabrication, and assembly, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards and tolerances.
  • Work with manufacturing and tooling teams to ensure design feasibility and optimize parts for production.
  • Perform design reviews, incorporate feedback, and maintain proper revision control of design data.
  • Assist in BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and documentation for manufacturing.
  • Conduct tolerance analysis, basic simulations, or interference checks as needed.
  • Support prototype development and assist in design validation or testing activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, R&D, and production, to realize complete product assemblies.
  • Maintain design documentation, CAD libraries, and adhere to company CAD standards.

  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and detailing.
  • Strong proficiency in PTC Creo (3D modeling, detailing, and assembly management).
  • Experience in creating 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T and tolerance stack-up understanding.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes — machining, sheet metal, injection molding, or casting.
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
  • Basic understanding of materials, fasteners, and mechanical design standards.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good to have :

  • Experience with tooling and fixture design.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle and prototype-to-production workflows.
