Job description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate Director - PMO to establish and lead our Project Management Office in India.
This role will be instrumental in creating delivery governance, strengthening cross-regional coordination, and embedding operational excellence in project execution.
A strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (Finance & Operations, Business Central, or Commerce) is essential, as the role supports ERP-focused implementation projects and client engagements.
Key Responsibilities :
PMO Establishment : Build and lead the PMO function in India aligned with global standards, focusing on governance, quality assurance, and consistent project delivery practices.
ERP Delivery Oversight : Provide structured oversight to D365 ERP implementation projects; ensure methodology, timelines, and deliverables are met across Business Central, Finance & Operations, and Commerce.
Performance Monitoring : Define and track KPIs across the portfolio, including delivery success, profitability, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction.
Project Methodology & Tools : Develop and enforce project management frameworks and tools including D365 project tracking tools (e. , Azure DevOps, LCS, and MS Project).
Team Enablement : Mentor project managers and consultants, provide onboarding and upskilling on PMO processes and D365-specific delivery nuances.
Risk & Issue Management : Identify and mitigate risks related to scope, resource allocation, and solution complexity; escalate and resolve project issues in coordination with delivery leads.
Global Collaboration : Serve as the primary interface between India-based project teams and global leadership, ensuring project status transparency and delivery alignment.
Continuous Improvement : Lead retrospectives and process optimization efforts; leverage lessons learned to strengthen D365 ERP implementation outcomes.
Qualifications :
Minimum 10 years of experience in IT services or consulting with at least 4 years in a PMO or delivery leadership role.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (F&O, Business Central, or Commerce); experience in managing ERP project portfolios is required.
Experience setting up PMO functions from the ground up in a global or multi-regional context.
Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and Microsoft tools (LCS, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Excel).
PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Business; MBA is a plus.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
