We are seeking a motivated OPT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The OPT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding F1, OPT,STEM OPT and H1 candidates —primarily recent graduates or international students looking for career opportunities in the U.S. This role involves strong networking, relationship building, and an understanding of the U.S. immigration and work authorization process.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit F1-OPT, CPT, and STEM OPT candidates from universities, job portals, and social media platforms.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate database for various technology and business roles.
- Coordinate with candidates throughout the recruitment process—initial contact, interviews, onboarding, and compliance.
- Maintain relationships with university career centers and student communities.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidates’ technical and communication skills.
- Educate candidates about visa processes, training programs, and career opportunities.
- Collaborate with the HR and sales teams to match candidates with client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with immigration and company policies during the hiring process.
- Track and report recruiting metrics (pipeline, submissions, hires, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).2–5 years of experience in recruiting (OPT / US staffing experience a plus).Familiarity with U.S. work visas (OPT, CPT, H1B, Green Card, etc.).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and ATS systems.Preferred Skills
Experience using job boards such as Dice, Monster, , Handshake, or CareerBuilder.Strong networking abilities, especially within the student and university community.Self-motivated and target-driven personality.Prior experience working with IT staffing or consulting firms.
