Profile- Fabrication Operations Head

Qualification- B.Tech / Diploma Mechanical

Location- Nelamangala, Bangalore

Experience Minimum 15 or 20 + years in Heavy fabrication of Steel structures, Gear Box casings, Locomotive Railway structures. Knowledge of Welding including WPS, PQR, AutoCAD, Knowledge of all NDT test, Shop Floor Management. Should have good networking skills and capability of getting new orders through his network

Job description

1. Responsible for Production activities of Fabrication Unit.

2. Responsible for smooth functioning of Fabrication unit.

3. Responding to customer RFQs & cost estimation with studying of drawings in details

4. Implementation of policies and directives of the Management.

5. Apprising Management for development and modifications of the operations so that better quality output can be generated.

6. Maintaining overall Discipline of the Fabrication unit

7. Responsible for demand generation for procurement of Raw materials & consumables

8. Responsible for checking, and collection of controlled copy of Drawings from the customers.

9. To see that required inventories are in the place.

10. Responsible for day to day follow up with customers as per requirement of the customer orders.

11. To make appropriate component drawings to produce the fabricated structures. Ensure quality in line with Drawings and specifications for all fabricated items

12. Ensure timely completion of fabricated items

13. To supervise activities in Fabrication unit

14. To prepare Job Cards for various items

15. To see that Fabrication job is completed in time.

16. To ensure timely completion of all fabricated items

17. Any additional duties / Responsibilities assigned by the Management.
