Job Overview

We are hiring for a Presales Engineer to be responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customer’s business issues and objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Providing presales technical support of the sales process across HPE Products and Solutions.
• Cooperating with the Sales Teams in assessing potential application of HPE products to meet customer’s business needs.
• Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely, at customer locations or other suitable facilities on HPE products value proposition.
• Building complex, multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of a sales engagement process.
• Leveraging product knowledge to provide technical HPE expertise to internal sales Teams, partners and end users
• Developing customer requirements that map HPE solutions, assisting with overcoming technical and competitive objections, and accelerating technical evaluation component of sales cycle to close deals.
• Leveraging the consultative sales process to prospective users to determine product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process.
• Working on issues that impact design / selling success or addressing future concepts, products or technologies.
• Creating formal networks with key decision makers in assigned accounts.
• Serving as an external spokesperson and championing HPE’s vision and associated technologies.
