Team Summary

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is Visa’s consulting division, serving Visa’s clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact and tangible financial results.

The individual will be part of VCA Data Science geographic team cluster of India and South Asia (INSA) markets and will be responsible for supporting data science engagements with Visa’s clients. The team is involved in a comprehensive range of consulting services and data-driven solutions to our clients, that address unique challenges in areas such as strategic growth, profitability, risk management, digital strategy and portfolio management.

What a Manager, Data Science does at Visa :

The Manager will be a member of VCA Data Science team in Asia Pacific and report to Sr Manager in India & South Asia (INSA)cluster. This position will be based in Visa’s Mumbai office and is an onsite role.

The individual will be supporting the development and implementation of analytics-driven strategies as well as high-impact solutions for Visa clients / Merchants. He / she will bring in prior experience in data science and data-driven insights to solve complex problems and unlock business value.

Key responsibilities include :

• Support and deliver data science engagements for India and South Asia merchant clients using Visa data.
• Build new data product / solutions for merchants that can be sold to merchants- both bespoke as well as scalable data solutions
• Work with 3rd party data providers for data partnership that can add value to VCA data solutions offering and also scale delivery of VISA data insights
• Work with Asia Pacific Merchant Analytics focused Team to collaborate on work-streams and best practices.
• Storyboarding and creating insights from the dashboards and identify any opportunities.
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations, data-driven insights to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency, standards & quality control of deliverables, with coding and project documentation up to date.
• Manage time across multiple projects and ensure timely delivery to clients while maintaining accuracy.
• Understand the client business requirements and do end to end scoping for the project deliverables.
• Help in pitching solutions to various merchant clients / Third Party and resolve queries on timely basis.
• Seek out opportunities to innovate by using Visa data, client data and non-traditional data fit for purpose to the needs of our clients.

This is an on-site position. An on-site position must be consistently performed at an assigned Visa office location and require daily commute to the office location.
