Social Media Writer–Strategist (3–4.5 Years Experience)

Compensation : ₹9–12 LPA (Bangalore)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Writer–Strategist — someone who can write with clarity and creativity, but think with the discipline of a marketer. This is a role built for someone wasn’t pleased with just “content writing” and now understands how content shapes awareness, trust, and ultimately, conversions .

You’ll work across social, digital, and performance channels, helping shape narratives that are insight-led, persona-driven, and built to move the consumer through the funnel not just generate engagement.

This is a great fit for someone with 3–4.5 years of experience , who now wants to take ownership of brand storytelling, audience insight, and performance outcomes.

What You’ll Own

1. Content Strategy & Planning

  • Build multi-brand content calendars rooted in consumer personas and funnel needs.
  • Understand and track your competitive environment and adopt best practises and differentiate
  • Lead messaging strategy across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
  • Identify content gaps, campaign opportunities, and formats that drive meaningful impact.
  • Identify creative angles and cultural hooks that make brands stand out.

2. Writing & Creative Craft

  • Write high-performing copy across social, ads, emails, landing pages, video scripts, print campaigns, brochures and campaign narratives.
  • Create Campaigns with hooks, angles, and storylines that are designed for conversion , not just views.
  • Keep content fresh, and culturally relevant while staying performance-oriented. Adapt tone and messaging across channels without losing consistency or intent.
  • 3. Performance-Centric Thinking

  • Work closely with performance marketing to understand metrics and refine content (CTR, CPL, ROAS, CVR).
  • Use data to iterate rapidly : refine messaging, adjust hooks, and improve outcomes
  • Understand audience drop-offs, friction points, and content triggers that increase conversion.
  • 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with designers, video teams, performance teams, and leadership to bring campaigns to life.
  • Participate in brainstorming and contribute both creative and strategic thinking.
  • Multi-brand management : Present ideas and content rationale with clarity and insight.
  • Juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • 5. AI-Enabled Creative Workflow

  • Use AI tools effectively for research, idea expansion, optimisation, and productivity.
  • Stay updated with emerging creative and AI tools that improve output without compromising originality.
  • You’ll Succeed if You Have :

  • 3–4.5 years of experience in a digital-first role (agency or brand).
  • A portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking + performance-oriented writing.
  • Hands-on experience in social campaigns, email journeys, landing page copy, and paid ad messaging.
  • Comfort with marketing metrics and performance dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology and platform behaviours.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven approach to content planning.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Notion AI, etc.
  • A good work ethic : you are an independent thinker, you collaborate well, are naturally curious and have a point of view on your work.
  • What Your Portfolio Should Show

  • Work that has driven business outcomes — leads, conversions, actions.
  • Clear examples of persona-based or insight-led content.
  • Multi-format writing : ads, scripts, landing pages, articles, blogs, social-first content.
  • A balance of creativity and measurable performance.
