About the Role
We are looking for a Project Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects across departments. The role involves working closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects from initiation to closure.
- Coordinate between stakeholders, team members, and vendors to ensure effective communication.
- Track project progress, deliverables, and milestones using project management tools.
- Prepare project documentation including reports, meeting minutes, and performance summaries.
- Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating them as needed.
- Support budget tracking, resource allocation, and procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and timelines.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and project success rates.
- Provide administrative and analytical support to project managers and leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field .Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.G., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Jira, or Smartsheet).Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills .Ability to analyze data and prepare reports or dashboards.Preferred Skills
Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM is an advantage.Experience working in a cross-functional or global project environment .Familiarity with budgeting, risk management, and change management .Strong documentation and stakeholder management abilities.
