Hybrid Mobile Test Automation QA Engineer – Contract Work – React Native i OS Mobile Application

We're seeking a part-time, freelance QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in React Native mobile app testing, specifically on i OS platforms, to join our team. This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Our app is currently only available on the Apple App Store, so owning one or more i OS devices is required. Experience with React Native test frameworks and tools like Detox, Appium, Browser Stack, and / or AWS Device Farm is highly preferred.

Qualifications :

• Must own an i OS device (i Phone 6 or newer); owning two is a plus
• Prior experience testing React Native mobile applications
• Familiarity with automation frameworks like Detox, Appium, or Webdriver IO
• Experience using Browser Stack and / or AWS Device Farm for cross-device testing
• Proficient in writing automated test scripts and integrating them into CI / CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of regression, performance, and integration testing
• Experience working with Jira and Agile workflows
• Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with global teams
• Stable internet connection is a must
• Strong communication and documentation skills
