About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Stylist cum Assistant Studio Manager to lead creative styling while managing studio operations. The ideal candidate should bring a strong blend of fashion styling expertise and operational leadership, ensuring high-quality creative output and seamless studio execution.
This dual role requires a balance of creative vision, commercial acumen, and organizational efficiency to deliver impactful visual assets that uphold brand identity and global quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Styling & Creative Direction
Conceptualize, plan, and execute styling for product shoots across e-commerce, editorial, advertising, and brand campaigns.Curate wardrobe selections, accessories, and looks in alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.Ensure accurate product representation (textures, finishes, and details) that enhances brand storytelling.Collaborate with photographers, DOPs, and creative teams to achieve the desired shoot mood, lighting, and aesthetics.Provide on-set styling adjustments and oversee post-production reviews to maintain styling accuracy.Studio & Project Management
Assist the Studio Manager in day-to-day studio operations, ensuring smooth workflow and resource utilization.Supervise shoot schedules, budgets, and production timelines for efficient execution.Manage vendor coordination (props, wardrobe rentals, HMUAs, model agencies, and production vendors).Maintain and update the studio’s styling library, props inventory, and mood board references.Ensure the studio operates at global standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, train, and mentor styling assistants, interns, and studio staff.Act as a bridge between the creative, photography, and production teams for seamless execution.Support the Studio Manager in resource planning and team coordination.Trend & Market Insights
Research global styling and fashion trends, integrating them into brand campaigns.Provide fresh and commercially relevant styling concepts that enhance brand visibility and ROI.Ensure styling concepts remain ahead of market competition and resonate with the target audience.Requirements
Experience : 5–10 years of proven experience in product styling, with exposure to studio operations (agency, brand, or e-commerce experience preferred).Portfolio : Strong portfolio showcasing product styling.Knowledge : In-depth understanding of silhouettes, textures, visual composition, and fashion trends.Studio Skills : Strong grasp of shoot planning, production workflows, and studio coordination.Soft Skills : Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Network : Established network of fashion vendors, rental houses, HMUAs, and model agencies is a plus.Qualifications
Education : Degree or certification in Fashion Design, Styling, Visual Arts, or related fields (preferred).Technical Understanding : Familiarity with photography direction, lighting moods, and shoot management tools.Creative Edge : Strong sense of color theory, brand identity alignment, and storytelling through styling.
