Job Title : Ad Operations Executive – Amazon Marketplace

Department : E-commerce (Amazon & Flipkart)
Reports To : Performance Marketing Manager / E-commerce Head
Role Overview :
The Ad Operations Executive will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns on Amazon (and optionally Flipkart). The goal is to maximize visibility, drive conversions, and achieve targeted ACoS and ROAS benchmarks while aligning with brand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Campaign Management
Create and manage
Sponsored Product, Sponsored Brand, and Sponsored Display
campaigns on Amazon.
Conduct
keyword research, negative keyword optimization , and bid adjustments.
Regularly monitor campaign performance and make
data-driven optimizations .
Implement
auto and manual campaigns
with structured naming conventions.
Manage daily budgets, pacing, and bid strategies for optimal ROI.
2. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track
ACoS, CTR, CPC, ROAS, CVR,
and other key metrics daily.
Maintain detailed campaign performance reports and dashboards (Excel or Google Sheets).
Analyze trends to identify growth opportunities and underperforming SKUs.
Share weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and next-step recommendations.
3. Keyword & ASIN Optimization
Conduct keyword audits to identify high-performing search terms.
Optimize
ASIN-level targeting, product placements, and content relevance .
Collaborate with the content and design teams to improve listing quality and ad creatives.
4. Strategy & Budget Planning
Assist in
monthly ad budget planning and forecasting
with the marketing and finance teams.
Help identify
seasonal and event-based campaigns
(e.g., Great Indian Festival, Big Billion Days).
Propose new strategies to improve share of voice and reduce cost per conversion.
5. Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with the
E-commerce, Design, and Performance Marketing
teams to ensure campaign creatives, copies, and pricing align with brand objectives.
Coordinate with
Amazon account managers
for feature adoption, beta tools, and ad strategy reviews.
Support listing optimization, A+ content, and keyword-rich descriptions to boost organic ranking.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in
Amazon Ads / Amazon PPC campaigns .
Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central / Advertising Console.
Expertise in
Excel, data analysis, and reporting tools .
(Advance level)
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience with
Flipkart Ads / IRIS / DSP / Helium 10 / Pacvue / SellerApp
tools is a plus.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
KPIs / Performance Metrics :
ACoS / ROAS performance vs. target.
CTR and conversion rate improvement.
Growth in daily run rate (DRR) and sales contribution from ads.
Efficiency in budget utilization.
Timely reporting and optimization cycles.
