Assistant Manager - MIS Reporting

Job descriptionPrepare and present monthly MIS reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Analyze variances between actuals and budgets; provide actionable insights. Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate financial inputs. Oversee journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes with accuracy and timeliness. Monitor receivables aging and follow up on overdue payments. Assist in preparing and filing GST and TDS returns in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and maintain proper records for audits. Minimum Qualification : Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA-Inter) or equivalent. 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance operations. Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS provisions. Proficiency in Zoho and MS Excel. Analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills.

Position Overview :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts to manage monthly book closures, prepare MIS reports, oversee daily accounting operations, and ensure compliance with basic GST & TDS requirements. The role demands strong technical knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to support decision-making through reliable financial data.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monthly Book Closing
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
- Prepare and post accruals, provisions, depreciation, and other necessary adjustments.
- Reconcile ledgers and validate trial balances with supporting documentation.
