Hiring for Global Release Engineer / Manager for 1 MNC client, Remote Position.

Exp : 8+ Years

Mode of work : Remote

NP : ASAP Joiners only required

JD -

Role : Global Release Engineer / Manager

Experience : 8+ Years Relevant in Build & Release

Location : Any NTT Data Location – Temp Remote

Shift Timing : 01 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM IST

Need someone who has hands on experience with DevOps Tools / Technologies & should have hands experience with Release Management for AI Application

every profiles should have below details along with resume submission

1) Communication skill – Rate on scale of 1-5.

2) Do he / she also have ITIL Service Management experience?

3) Have he / she done release management / deployment work on AI applications?

4) Do he / she have hands-on experience on DevOps tools and technologies? If yes please list below

MUST Have Mandatory Skills

8+ Year Relevant experience in Build & Release, & should also have minimum Years in DevOps
Should have hands-on experience with handling Global Release for SAP / SFDC / ServiceNow projects
Should have exposure with Azure DevOps & Azure Containerization
Excellent Communication, both verbal and written for global stakeholders management & working with cross functional teams

Required

B. Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent degree

Project management experience

8 Years of overall Build & Release management experience

Knowledge of Continuous Integration &Continuous Delivery (CD / CI) pipelines 4+ year of experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies

Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle

Expertise in computer programming

Team management skills

Experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools such as ElectricFlow, Puppet Enterprise, Buildmaster, and Visual Studio Release Management.

Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban

Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle.

Communicate the project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams.

Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates. Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.

Track the progress and find issues, if any. Always work to improve the process of release.

Make sure that the release is planned, according to the requirements and budget.

Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.

Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule.

Plan and give weekly updates on the release activities

Make sure the allocation of Release Engineers to every release.

Communicate with release managers from different IT departments.

Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.

Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software.

Schedule the CAB meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks, if any.

Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.

Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management.
