Site reliability engineer

We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes (GKE). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system reliability, automating infrastructure, and ensuring smooth CI / CD operations. You will work closely with development and operations teams to build scalable and resilient systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and optimize infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , including GKE (Kubernetes) clusters.

Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git Lab CI.

Develop and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.

Monitor system health and performance using Dynatrace and other observability tools.

Troubleshoot issues related to Linux systems , networking , and containerized applications.

Write and maintain scripts in Bash or Python to automate operational tasks.

Ensure version control best practices using Git.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and deployment processes.

Maintain documentation and runbooks for operational procedures and incident response.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

2+ years of relevant hands-on experience with Dev Ops / SRE / GCP services.

Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and TCP / IP networking.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).

Experience with Git for version control.

Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting.

Solid grasp of CI / CD concepts and implementation.

Working knowledge of Docker and containerization principles.

Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools , especially Dynatrace.

Experience with Helm charts for Kubernetes.

Basic understanding of database concepts.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certification in GCP or Kubernetes (e.g., GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, CKA).

Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
