Position Overview :

The Manager MEP Design will lead the design and coordination of Mechanical Electrical and PHE systems for high-rise residential and commercial projects. This role involves overseeing consultants reviewing design deliverables ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards and driving timely approvals. The manager will play a key role in cross-functional coordination risk mitigation and providing technical leadership to internal teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Good understanding of local and international design standards code & local authority requirements.

2. Sound knowledge on Design calculations such as Mechanical Water supply load demand water balance hot water system design fire-fighting calculations air-conditioning calculation ventilation calculation solid waste calculation equipment selection etc.

3. MEP Infra design capabilities and inference of flood risk analysis and mitigation.

4. Experience in Space planning and schematic design of system

5. Experience and knowledge in LIFTS traffic analysis.

6. Prepare / Review DBR & Concept design reports for MEP Systems.

7. Experience in working with HAP software added advantage if candidate have knowledge of using Storm CAD HECRAS software.

8. Should be experienced in review of design documents from Service consultant.

9. Macro / Coordination level understanding of other services such as ELECTRICAL & ELV SERVICES FA SYSTEM PA SYSTEM CCTV SYSTEM BMS SYSTEM COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ETC.

10. Good understanding of architectural and structural drawings and design intent.

11. Good in Co- ordination with relevant stake holders for follow up and approvals.

12. Good in Review and approval of design / shop drawings and material submittals.

13. Attending site visit and Timely review and response to RFI and queries from Site.

14. Coordination with Commercial and procurement team for cost inputs and tender technical discussions.

15. Coordinate with liaising department.

16. Active participation in meeting and discussions with valid inputs.

17. Technical review of products for rate contract.

18. Coordination and document preparation for Authority submission.

19. Should be able to provide real time solution wherever possible.

20. Preparation & updating of tracker design compliance reports etc.

Managerial : -

1. Monitor and control the project deliverables from consultants and contractors.

2. Manage internal & external stakeholders

3. Prepare micro schedule for deliverables.

4. Review consultant invoice and variation claim by consultants.

5. Manage resources for in-house working.

6. Motivate the team to complete the projects in an effective and timely manner.

7. Should be Technically efficient in managing the queries

Preferred candidate profile

Core MEP Design exposure with min 10 to 20 years of experience in Mechanical services - Public Health Engineering Fire Fighting & HVAC Services in MEP real estate considerable years of experience with Grade A Developer in India for residential & commercial project

Skills : -

1. Auto CAD Knowledge for review of drawings with basic drafting skill.

2. Proficient with MS Word Excel and Power Point.

3. Good in communication and decision making.

4. Should be a team player and has positive approach to change.

5. Good People / stakeholder management skill.
