Discretionary Trader

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a discretionary trader for crypto derivatives. In this pivotal role, the candidate will be entrusted with managing and overseeing discretionary trading and rigorous risk management across crypto futures and options. The ideal candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment and should be able to extract key insights from their investment universe and leverage it to generate alpha within their mandate and have at least 1-2 years of experience in similar positions.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct market analysis and manage a capital allocation by creating, executing, and monitoring a Discretionary trading strategy

Conduct thorough digital asset related, technical, macroeconomic, geopolitical and fundamental analysis and their implication for asset class

Implement stringent risk management, actively assessing the merits of all positions and investment theses

Take ownership of profit and loss (P&L) and risk management for the portfolio of the positions

Ensure strict compliance with all regulations, and internal company policies

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus

Preferably a track record in Discretionary trading (tactical) in any asset class

Strong understanding of derivatives (futures and options) and their risk management and price drivers

Strong understanding of crypto markets, related trading products and their price drivers

Proficiency in either technical or fundamental analysis, capable of generating independent research and synthesizing broad data points into trading theses.

Demonstrated strength of character : integrity, initiative, judgment, commitment, emotional stability, persistence, resilience.

Exceptional decision-making abilities, capable of performing well under pressure
