💼 Job Title : Instrument Technician – HOD

📍 Location : Phalodi, Rajasthan

💰 Salary Range : ₹60,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month

👤 Reporting To : GM / Head Office

🧠 Experience : 10–15 years (minimum 5 years in a leadership role)

We are a forward-thinking renewable energy company operating a state-of-the-art 8 MW biomass power plant , focused on sustainable energy generation through agricultural waste and forestry biomass.

🎯 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Instrument Technician – Head of Department (HOD) to lead and manage all aspects of instrumentation and control systems at our biomass power plant.

The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the plant by maintaining and optimizing all instrument and control functions.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

🔧 1. Instrumentation & Control Systems

Supervise the installation, calibration, and maintenance of all instrumentation and control systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot PLCs, DCS, transmitters, analyzers, and control loops.
Ensure accurate and continuous measurement of temperature, pressure, flow, and other process parameters.

⚡ 2. Operation & Maintenance

Support smooth plant operations by maintaining reliability of control systems.

Prepare and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

Lead root cause analysis for instrumentation failures and implement corrective measures.

🧰 3. Technical Leadership

Lead a team of instrument technicians and coordinate with electrical and mechanical departments.

Develop technical documentation, calibration reports, and maintenance logs.

Identify opportunities for automation upgrades and performance improvements.

🧑 🏭 4. Safety, Compliance & Quality

Enforce adherence to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards.

Ensure all equipment complies with relevant safety and calibration norms.

Support audits, inspections, and documentation as per regulatory requirements.

🌾 5. Coordination & Reporting

Work closely with plant operations, procurement, and fuel management teams.

Provide periodic performance reports to senior management.

Liaise with vendors and OEMs for service, spare parts, and system support.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering .

10–15 years of experience in a biomass / thermal power plant , with at least 5 years in a leadership role .

Strong knowledge of boiler instrumentation, turbine controls, DCS / SCADA systems, and calibration procedures .

Familiarity with safety standards, environmental compliance, and documentation practices .
