Job Title : GL Accountant

Summary :

Responsible for General Ledger, including but not limited to, SAP General Ledger transactions, Support Balance sheet review, reporting, SAP, IFRS, reconciliations and compliance with internal and business controls.

Responsibilities Include :

• Ensure that accruals are properly recorded and analyzed
• Preparation of Journal Entries to comply with IFRS regulations & Supporting schedule
• Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly activities
• Manual Intercompany Invoicing
• GRIR Process
• Intercompany GL clearing and reconciliation
• Debt Schedule reporting
• Closing entries and maintaining supporting annexures
• Posting of recurring entries
• Intercompany transaction and Netting off
• Review, Analyze Out of Balance (OOB) report and ensure reconciliation during all month-ends
• Analysis of the various accounts and variances per legal entities, obtain explanation on deviations and prepare a summarized reporting on a monthly basis within scheduled time
• Preparation and review of Blackline account reconciliations
• Preparation of VAT reports in compliance with European region
• Ensure all Finance process in compliance with Momentive’s Accounting Policies & Procedures and ensure accuracy of General Ledger
• Participating in project groups in order to implement (new) accounting policies & processes as and when required
• Provide supporting documents and explanations for all Stat and SOX audit as and when required
• Identify process improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices in GL and VAT activity.

Close interface with Regional controllers.
