Pooltrackr, a leading vertical SaaS platform, is looking for a highly experienced Senior TechnicalLead or Software Architect to establish and lead our engineering presence in Pune. This role is
critical in laying the foundation for a scalable, high-performing development team to support
Pooltrackr's global growth, particularly in the US market.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the technical cornerstone of the Pune team, owning the delivery and code quality across allPooltrackr platforms (web, API, mobile)
Collaborate closely with the AU-based CTO and team to understand product priorities and ensurealignment
Lead architectural decisions and enforce best practices across frontend (React), backend(Laravel / PHP), and mobile (React Native) codebases
Conduct code reviews, mentor future team members, and drive engineering excellenceGradually build and scale the Pune team by participating in hiring, onboarding, and technicalenablement
Proactively manage delivery risks and remove technical blockersContribute hands-on where necessary in early phases (especially for complex or critical areas)Required Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with recent experience as a team lead,architect, or senior technical leaderProven experience working with SaaS platforms and modern cloud-based application architecturesStrong knowledge of :Backend : Laravel / PHPFrontend : React, Next.jsMobile : React NativeExperience with CI / CD practices, Git workflows, and Agile / Scrum deliveryComfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment across time zonesStrong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-region teams and align technicalwork with business goals
Desirable
Prior experience in establishing or scaling offshore delivery teamsFamiliarity with AWS infrastructure and DevOps principlesBackground in service industries or vertical SaaS is a plusWhat Success Looks Like
