GE Proficy MES Application Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

The GE Proficy suite- Plant Apps / Batch / Workflow developer who can develop / Configure the solution as per the customer manufacturing process requirements and plant model.

Preferred candidate profile :

GE Proficy Plant Application MES and Batch Execution developer / configuration engineer needs to understand the Mfg, Process requirements like Production tracking, Quality Management, Maintenance, Downtime tracking, Waste Tracking, Inventory etc. In addition, need to manipulate the production data like Delay, Waste, and other Performance indicators etc.

Conduct workshops with customers and regular meetings during requirement gathering, design and development, testing and go-live

Develop FDS (functional design specification), Design and architecture solution and develop new functionality

Develop or configure these requirements into the MES solution. Develop or extend the MES functionalities through customization if out of the box MES features dont meet the requirements.

Write Store Procedures and functions in SQL.

Work along with testing team to develop and execute unit, System integration and UAT test scripts. Troubleshoot the issues in GE Proficy Plant Apps.

Solution Deployment / Perform Go Live

Provide post go-live support.
