Profile : Backend Developer (Nodejs & Nestjs)

Experience Required : 1-3 Years

Work Location : Gurgaon

Job Description :

Translate business requirements and use-cases into fully functional backend applications using Node.js and NestJS.

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side logic .

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of backend services.

Review, test, and verify code for adherence to coding standards, performance benchmarks, and security best practices.

Identify performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues, and implement effective solutions.

Maintain code quality, structure, and organization through documentation and version control .

Implement authentication, authorization, and security protocols for web applications.

Work on database design, optimization, and management using relational (PostgreSQL / MySQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

Technical Requirements :

Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS framework for building scalable backend services.

Hands-on experience with Express.js and MongoDB .

Knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Experience in RESTful API and microservices development .

Familiarity with JWT, OAuth2, and other authentication / authorization mechanisms .

Proficiency in database design, queries, and optimization (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Understanding of caching strategies, message queues, and background jobs (Redis, RabbitMQ, etc.).

Experience in version control tools such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.

Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks .

Experience in cloud deployment, CI / CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger or Postman.

Experience with third-party API integrations , including payment gateways, social login, or messaging services.

Knowledge of WebSockets, WebRTC, or real-time communication is an advantage.

Familiarity with serverless architecture or PWA backend support is a plus.
