What will you do as an Account Manager?
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing existing LMI accounts while developing new customers to expand and strengthen their assigned territory. They will report directly to the National Sales Manager.
- Establish and maintain relationships with designated accounts in assigned territory as it relates to all levels of communication
- Handle incoming sales calls and incoming requests for quotes
- Respond to customer inquiries, obtain orders and conduct post order follow up
- Assist with preparing pricing and quotes for clients.
- Actively work leads and opportunities from time they are assigned through to final outcome
- Provide product / application recommendations to our prospects and clients.
- Maintain complete customer profiles, utilizing LMI’s CRM software. Update information inside the system on a regular basis and use to identify and pursue opportunities; update win / loss analysis on all opportunities
- Constantly upgrade and maintain product knowledge
- Maintain customer relations through an excellent attitude, strong technical knowledge, and efficient work practices.
- Explore opportunities to add value to the overall growth of the organization.
What do you need to be successful?
Minimum of 5 years inside sales or account management experience to OEM, SI or Distributors. Preference given to those candidates with a technical background or work experienceEngineering or Bachelor of Commerce Degree or equivalent training and experienceWorking knowledge of 3D machine vision and related productsExceptional verbal and written communication skills combined with strong computer skillsExceptional organizational, communication, problem solving and prioritization skillsSelf-motivated and results oriented approach to businessDemonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentMust be self motivated and possess a positive attitude
