Junior Architect

ZED Lab, based in Delhi, is a research-driven architecture and interior design studio specializing in net-zero energy buildings since 2009. The studio focuses on sustainability, aiming to improve human comfort in symbiosis with the environment through research, design, and construction. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Architect located in Delhi. The Junior Architect will be responsible for working on architectural design projects, integrating innovative solutions, and collaborating on project management tasks. Day-to-day duties include drafting plans, conducting research, and assisting in the development of sustainable building systems. The role involves working closely with the team to deliver projects that meet ZED Lab's high standards of sustainability and design excellence.

Qualifications

Architecture and Architectural Design skills

Project Management skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Familiarity with sustainable design principles and practices

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field

Proficiency in relevant architectural software (Autocad, Sketchup, Enscape - is a must)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience with parametric design tools is beneficial

Track timelines, manage deliverables, and maintain project schedules.

1–2 years of experience in design, project coordination, or architectural management.

Strong presentation & communication skills.

Good eye for design, detail, and visualization.
