Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada for a Medical Coder. The Medical Coder will be responsible for translating patient records into standardized medical codes by using approved classification systems. Daily tasks include reviewing healthcare documentation, ensuring the accuracy of coding, and adhering to compliance protocols and industry regulations. The role involves maintaining meticulous records and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support accurate billing and reimbursement processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Coding and comprehensive knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience or credentials in Health Information Management and familiarity with RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)
• Relevant coding experience and understanding of industry classification systems
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work accurately under deadlines
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCA) is an advantage
• A degree or diploma in a relevant healthcare or medical field is desirable
