Roles & Responsibilities :
Preparation of Engineering Drawings e.g. Fabrication Drawings, General Arrangement Drawings, Layout etc. mainly related to oil & gas, Refinery, petrochemical, fertilizer, iron ore, metal industry
Support design for vessel, pipe racks.
Preparation and checking of Engineering deliverables specifications, datasheet, RFQs, TBEs for pressure vessel, heat exchanger, storage tank and skid mounted packages
Mechanical Design calculation for static equipment using PV Elite and tank software and capable to cross check with manual calculations
Preparation of Material Requisition / Specification and Design and Preparation of Mechanical Datasheet
Capable for cost estimation for fabricated equipment along with required accessories
Bill of quantity and weight calculation & Bill of quantity and calculations for insulation and cladding
Perform code calculations including Wind and Seismic design, Equipment thickness selection / verification as appropriate for the intended service conditions and imposed design loadings. Mechanical guarantee for all equipment
Identify applicability of Insulation and Fireproofing, indicate appropriate insulation material and insulation thickness, indicate fireproofing thickness, and account for the impact on mechanical design
Fabrication of all accessories such as ladders, platforms, tailing lugs with stiffening arrangement, lifting lugs as required for Equipment
Detail engineering, Performance Verification of all Vessel Internals, Columns Internals like trays, packed beds, support grids, retaining grids, distributors, chimney trays etc.
Piping interfaces including nozzle flange facing, nozzle projections, nozzle locations, nozzle orientations
Develop support configuration, (Leg / Skirt Height, base-block dimensions and thicknesses) / (Lug quantity and Location along with lug details) / (Saddle height, Saddle dimensions, Saddle locations).
Civil interfaces with civil foundation, Support structure including Anchor bolt nos., Anchor bolt size, bolt spacing etc. Dimensional details of Girth Flange, Girth Flange gasket, Girth Flange bolting (size, threading, and quantity).
Performing Mechanical Design calculation of static equipment
Evaluating vendor bid and Review post order vendor documents
Thermal Design of all Heat Exchangers
Education : B.E. / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Software Skills Required :
AutoCAD
PVElite, HTRI
Experience : 5-15 years (Static Equipment Design) major experience related to oil & gas, Refinery, fertilizer, petrochemical industry onshore & offshore
