BIM Design Technician

Education : B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture), B.Tech (Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering), B.Tech (Bachelor of Electrical Engineering),

Software Proficiency : Autodesk Revit (Mandatory)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architect or Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on Revit experience to join our VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) team. The role involves working on 3D modeling and design of modular construction units, focusing on MEP coordination, assemblies, and sheet creation. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Revit and have experience working in a collaborative BIM environment, and an understanding of construction and building systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop building systems DFMA / BIM models using Revit assemblies, while understanding best practices from our manufacturing process.
• Create accurate and well-organized Revit models for critical building infrastructure, like Structural CFMF, Domestic Water, Sprinkler, Sanitary, Electrical, HVAC Supply Air, and Exhaust Air.
• Create Construction documentation with Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Cut Lists for the manufacturing of modular units.
• Follow established folder structures and naming conventions based on unit types (e.G., 101A, 101B).
• Work using BIM Collaborate Pro to manage cloud-based models and collaborate with the US-based design team.
• Review and implement markups, redlines, and design changes efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain consistency and quality in family creation, parameter use, and documentation.
• Participate in internal model reviews and ensure coordination with other services and disciplines.
• Understand and work within defined LOD standards, BIM protocols, and modular design workflows.
