Job description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced web applications using Nest.js, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Write clean and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications for performance and responsiveness.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and understanding of type-safe development.
  • Proficient in database design, architecting database schemas, optimizing data structures, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support our frontend services.
  • Integrate third-party services, APIs, and libraries to enhance application functionality.
  • Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Implement security measures and data protection best practices.
  • Collaborate with UI / UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive interfaces.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team coding standards.
  • Manage and monitor deployments on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and communicate project updates to stakeholders.

Skills

  • 6+ years of experience with the NestJS framework and the TypeScript programming language.
  • A solid understanding of Node.js, as NestJS is built on top of it.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design principles.
  • Experience with ORM tools..
  • Knowledge of server-side caching mechanisms.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of testing frameworks (RSpec, Jest, Mocha, etc.).
