Job Title : Project Manager – Airline Domain Location : Gurugram (5 Days from office) Job Type : Full-Time Experience : 8+ years Domain : Airline / Aviation About the Role : We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager with strong Airline domain experience to lead and deliver strategic projects for our clients in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of airline operations, systems, and processes, with a proven track record in project management, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership. Key Responsibilities : Lead end-to-end delivery of airline domain projects, ensuring scope, timeline, cost, and quality objectives are met Engage closely with airline clients to understand business needs, define project scope, and translate them into actionable plans Manage project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies using agile / waterfall or hybrid methodologies Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, business analysts, and third-party vendors Monitor and report project progress through regular status updates, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and quality standards in all project phases Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices Support pre-sales activities such as RFP responses, estimations, and client presentations (as required) Required Skills and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field;
PMP / Prince2 certification is a plus 8+ years of total experience, with at least 3-5 years managing projects in the airline or aviation industry Strong knowledge of airline systems such as PSS (Passenger Service Systems), DCS (Departure Control Systems), revenue management, loyalty systems, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) Hands-on experience in managing enterprise applications, digital transformation, or system integration projects in airline context Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar Ability to work in a global delivery model and manage geographically distributed teams Preferred Qualifications : Prior experience working with Tier-1 airline clients or global aviation service providers Agile / Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe, etc.) Exposure to IATA standards and airline regulatory frameworks
