Role Snapshot

Perfect for fresh graduates or engineers with up to 1 year of experience, this entry-level role lets you pair-program with senior developers, ship production code, and sharpen your backend fundamentals on real products from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services under senior guidance
  • Write clean, well-documented code and unit tests
  • Help build and test RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Debug issues in dev & staging, assist with releases
  • Take part in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint ceremonies
  • Contribute to technical docs and knowledge sharing
  • Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and cloud concepts

Must-Have Qualifications

  • B.S. in CS / Engineering (or final-year student)
  • 0-1 year professional or solid internship experience
  • Proficiency in Python or Node.js
  • Sound grasp of data structures & algorithms
  • Basic SQL skills (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with RESTful API concepts & Git
  • Growth mindset, strong problem-solving, team spirit

    • Nice-to-Have Extras

  • Internship or project work in backend development
  • Open-source contributions / personal GitHub projects
  • Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure basics
  • NoSQL familiarity (MongoDB, Redis)
  • Docker fundamentals & Linux comfort
  • Intro knowledge of Go or Java
  • Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and unit testing
