The PMO role will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless pre-opening execution and operational readiness for new hospitality assets.
Role Overview
The PMO Pre-Opening will be accountable for end-to-end project coordination, pre-opening activities, governance, reporting, and ensuring timely launch of hospitality and wellness properties under Ridhira Group. The ideal candidate must come exclusively from a pre-opening hotel / resort background , with strong multi-departmental coordination experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Opening Project Planning & Scheduling
Create and manage complete Pre-Opening Master Schedule & Critical Path Plan .
Coordinate with design, MEP, procurement, IT, operations, HR, housekeeping, spa, F&B, security, and finance teams.
Monitor all project deadlines and flag risks in advance to management.
2. Procurement, Vendor, and Resource Coordination
Track procurement of OS&E, FF&E, spa equipment, kitchen equipment, linens, guest supplies, IT infrastructure, audio-visual systems, and interior finishes .
Maintain Vendor Contract Tracker, PR / PO tracker, GRN tracker, and installation schedule .
Monitor vendor SLAs, inspection of delivery, installation, testing and handover.
3. Budget, Cost & Reporting
Track budgets against actuals and provide MIS – Cost, Spend Forecast & Variance Reports .
Coordinate vendor billing, payment approvals and closing financial dependencies for timely commissioning.
Present weekly dashboard reports to leadership on delays, dependencies, and progress.
4. Regulatory & Statutory Approvals
Maintain compliance checklist for all licenses and certifications required for launch such as :
Fire NOC
Trade license
Spa license
FSSAI & Excise license (F&B)
Public health and safety
Pollution control, water & electricity connections
Liaise with concerned teams / authorities to prevent delays.
5. IT & Systems Implementation
Coordinate implementation of PMS, POS, Spa booking software, CRM, security access control, biometrics, audio-visual and IoT-based systems .
Ensure completion of installation, testing, UAT, and go-live documentation .
6. Operational Readiness & Handover
Ensure operational readiness for :
Dry Runs
Mock Services
Soft Launch & Grand Opening
Maintain progress of departmental SOPs, training, recruitment & handover deliverables.
Work closely with Ops leadership for post-opening 30-60-90 day improvement plans.
7. Governance, Meetings & Documentation
Conduct weekly PMO reviews , create MOMs, track action items until closure.
Maintain centralized PMO documentation & project library covering drawings, vendor data sheets, compliance records, technical docs & approvals.

License / approval adherence without last-minute escalations

Required Skills & Experience
