JOB DUTIES :

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the processing of incoming receipts to ensure spare parts are properly stored or allocated to a Work Order or Sales Order.
  • Responsible for visual identification of part number / serial number / expiry date and verification for all incoming and outgoing parts prior to receipting and labelling.
  • Responsible for ensuring supporting certification documents are received according to regulatory requirements and documentation is uploaded for traceability and audit purposes.
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of stocking, picking and packing of spare parts for shipment.
  • Responsible for booking of outward freight and preparation of the shipping and related documentation for outgoing shipment.
  • Accountable for maintaining an awareness of regular customers' specific requirements to support the customer with timely deliveries.
  • Maintain positive work relationships with freight forwarders used by Bell Textron Australia and maintain working relationships to facilitate the smooth flow of spares shipments.
  • Maintain accurate and correct recording of IATA / ICAO UN or ID number in accordance with dangerous goods regulations to ensure shipment by air, land and sea carriers.
  • Maintaining a qualified certificate for dangerous goods regulations issued by IATA / ICAO to support customers' requirements for movements of hazardous materials by air, land and sea carriers.
  • Maintain manual parts book-out sheet daily and monitor Ready-Issue location in store to assist MRO with parts requirements.
  • Assist Logistics Manager for management of quality reviews / recalls and discrepancy reports on quarantine items.
  • Maintaining warehouse in neat and tidy appearance to have ample space for efficient and productive movements to facilitate daily operations.
  • Provide support in performing cycle counts periodically to maintain inventory accuracy, minimise stock variances, ensuring all adjustments are confirmed and all stock transfers are matched and accounted for.
  • AOG duties and attendance as deemed necessary to meet the requirement.
  • Understanding of the Maintenance Organisation Exposition.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.

Job Requirements Knowledge and Skills

  • Valid forklift license.
  • Dangerous Goods Transportation for Shippers.
  • Proficiency in data entry and excellent attention to details.
  • Experience working with inventory software.
  • Preferable for experience in an aviation environment.
