Role Overview :

The Area Sales Manager – Field Advertising, Marketing & Revenue Growth is responsible for overseeing multiple territories, driving regional sales strategies, and ensuring successful execution of large-scale field campaigns.

Key Responsibilities Include :

Managing a network of Territory Sales Managers across assigned zones

Driving regional revenue targets and business expansion

Leading on-ground marketing operations and regional brand activations

Building high-value partnerships and alliances across industries

This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional leadership, and in-depth expertise in regional field marketing and sales management.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Regional Team Leadership & Development :

Lead and mentor Territory Sales Managers and their field teams across assigned regions.

Establish a performance-driven environment through structured training, performance reviews, and team engagement.

Align regional strategies with company objectives for maximum impact and revenue generation.

2. Sales & Revenue Leadership :

Drive business growth through aggressive sales strategies and execution excellence.

Take ownership of regional sales quotas, ensuring consistent revenue achievement.

Identify high-performing teams and implement best practices across all territories.

3. Regional Campaign Management :

Design and execute region-specific field advertising campaigns.

Coordinate with the digital team for integrated marketing approaches.

Supervise deployment of kiosks, promotional materials, and customer engagement drives.

4. Strategic Business Expansion :

Forge strong partnerships with BFSI, fintech, and industry-specific clients.

Lead regional contract discussions, MoUs, and bulk campaign agreements.

Represent the organization at regional forums, expos, and events.

5. Market Intelligence & Operational Efficiency :

Conduct periodic market analysis to assess region-wise trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies.

Use insights to refine product placement, team performance, and outreach tactics.

Streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and ROI in each territory.

Key Qualifications & Skills :

Experience : 5+ Years in Team Leadership & 8+ Years in Field Sales, Marketing, and Business Development

Education : MBA / Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or relevant domain

Core Competencies :

Regional sales leadership with a proven track record in revenue generation

Expertise in managing multi-level teams and multi-territory operations

Strategic planner with deep understanding of market dynamic

Strong communication, negotiation, and business partnership skills

Analytical with a result-oriented and execution-focused approach

Other Requirements :

Willingness to travel extensively across regions

BFSI experience is a plus, especially in loans, credit cards, mutual funds, insurance
