We have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Engineering to join our Universal DDI team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the senior director of Software Engineering.

In this pivotal role, you will lead quality and automation strategies that drive innovation and ensure the scalable, reliable, and efficient delivery of high-quality software across the engineering lifecycle.

Be a Contributor What Youll Do :

• Define and execute a comprehensive QA strategy for SaaS and hybrid delivery
• Champion a culture of quality across Engineering, Product, and Operations
• Lead development and scaling of test automation across UI, API, and infrastructure
• Integrate automated quality gates into CI / CD pipelines for safe, fast releases
• Implement proactive controls and observability to maintain near-zero change fail rate
• Collaborate with SRE / DevOps to ensure post-deployment monitoring and rollback safety
• Apply DNS, DHCP, and IPAM expertise to validate product behavior and edge cases
• Partner with Product managers and architects to ensure domain-specific quality coverage
• Define, track, and report KPIs, including coverage, defect escape, change fail, and release confidence
• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing QA / automation team with continuous innovation
