FINANCE SPECIALIST
ABOUT THE JOB
We are currently looking for dynamic person for the role of Finance Specialist for Electrolux Professional India.
Ideal candidate will be someone having experience of Credit check & risk management, Customers & Import-export compliances and tax related issues.
ABOUT YOUR TASKS :
Credit Check & Risk Management
- Support credit risk assessments for new and existing customers.
- Analyze financial statements, payment history, and credit scores to determine creditworthiness.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue invoices, and recommend credit limits to mitigate credit risks.
- Ensuring system contracts, discount structure and payment terms are monitored.
- Work closely with Controllers in credit management.
Customs & Import-Export Compliance
Manage financial aspects of customs clearance, duty payments, and import / export documentation.Ensure compliance with Indian Customs Act, FEMA, and RBI guidelines on foreign transactions.Work with logistics and trade compliance teams to resolve duty disputes and regulatory queries.Verify Bill of Entry, Shipping Bills, and other customs documentation for accuracy.Prepare documentation for import license, certifications etc needed for compliance.Tax Submissions
Prepare and file GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns within deadlines.Ensure GST reconciliation, input tax credit (ITC) claims, and tax adjustments are accurate.Handle corporate tax filings, advance tax payments, and assessments.Stay updated with Indian tax laws and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance.Compliance
Assist Accounting in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.Assist in financial audits and ensure compliances with local accounting standards.Implement or improve internal controls related to credit, tax, and reporting.Update the company on related regulatory requirements as and when needed.Undertake and support any ad-hoc / new assignments assignedABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent; working knowledge of local reporting standards, IFRS and GAAP. Must be a CPA.Working experience in finance and accounting activities, customs requirements, import / export duties and taxation (., income tax, deferred tax, WHT, GST / VAT, . Preferably in statutory and legal requirements for India.Proficient knowledge in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.Knowledge in ERP system knowledge such as JDEdwards is advantageous.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlinesEffective communication and stakeholder management skills and is able to engage in cross-functional collaboration.Able to work independently, is proactive and is results driven.Excellent written and verbal skills (Business English).REQUIRED COMPETENCES
