About Us

RansahAI is a pre-seed SaaS startup revolutionizing Staffing & Recruiting with an MVP already in the market. We’re now scaling infrastructure for hypergrowth and expanding into new markets while maintaining a lean, agile team. We’re seeking a technical problem-solver to execute infrastructure build-outs, optimize systems, and contribute to strategic technical decisions as an individual contributor (IC). This role is ideal for hands-on freshers and seasoned engineers who thrive in startups and enjoy solving complex scaling challenges early on.

Job Overview

As the SDE, you will design, build, and scale core technical systems in Firebase and Cloudflare, with foundational work in cloud computing (e.g., Azure / AWS / GCP). You’ll collaborate with the CTO to execute infrastructure improvements, automation projects, and feature initiatives that enable product scalability and market entry. Your work will directly impact system reliability, cost-efficiency, and customer adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Core Infrastructure Engineering

  • Mandatory :  Deep expertise in Firebase (Firestore, RTDB, Hosting, Auth) and Cloudflare (Workers, CDN, SSL, DDoS protection).
  • Nice-to-Have :  Familiarity with Azure / AWS / GCP for multi-cloud integration.
  • Optimize performance, security, and cost for production environments.
  • Build and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines (e.g., CI / CD with CircleCI).
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using TypeScript / Python.
  • Monitor system health (e.g., uptime, latency) and mitigate outages proactively.
  • Implement incident response workflows and post-mortems.

Product & Feature Development

Frontend / Backend Engineering :

  • Develop APIs and services using Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue.js).
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to refine product features and user flows.

    • Qualifications & Requirements

    Must-Have Skills

  • Mastery of Firebase (Firestore, Functions, Hosting) and Cloudflare (Workers, R2, KV).
  • Experience debugging and optimizing production cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, and experience building scalable APIs.
  • Proficiency in React or Vue.js for frontend tasks (across platforms or mobile web).
  • Git (expert), GitHub / GitLab (CI / CD process familiarity).
  • Comfort with terminal-based workflows and Linux / macOS.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with CircleCI (or similar tools like GitHub Actions) for deployments.
  • Basics of Azure / AWS / GCP (e.g., Lambda, EC2, VPCs).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic) or logging (e.g., ELK Stack).

    • Soft Skills

  • Problem-Solving :  Ability to dissect technical issues, debug, and propose scalable solutions.
  • Communication :  Effectively explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., CEO, CTO, product managers).
  • Ownership :  Take full responsibility for tasks from design to deployment.
  • Adaptability :  Comfort balancing short-term fixes with long-term architecture improvements.

    • Experience

  • 1–3 years of hands-on software development or infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Experience working in a start-up or high-growth SaaS startup preferred (e.g., scaling MVP to product-market fit).
  • No people / team leadership required (IC role).
