Job description

Years of experience : 6+yrs

Primary Technology / skills : Test Analyst with good experience in testing retail applications

Technical & Professional requirements :

  • Certification in accessibility testing (such as CPACC, WAS, or DHS Trusted Tester)
  • Strong proficiency in Axe Deque tools (Axe Dev Tools, Axe Auditor) for accessibility testing
  • Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 standards, ARIA, and accessibility regulations (such as ADA and Section 508)
  • 5+ years of experience in accessibility testing for web and mobile applications
  • Familiarity with screen readers and other assistive technologies
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
  • Possess good communication and written documentation skills and is able to interact with key stakeholders to deliver fast with quality
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to deliver on time with quality and also handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Should have excellent problem / issue management skills across various stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of IT software development life cycle and product process oriented agile development environment like Scrum

Other “Nice to have” skills / experience :

  • Experience with other accessibility testing tools (like WAVE, JAWS, NVDA)
  • Knowledge of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for effective collaboration with developers
  • Details of duties to be performed :

  • Conduct comprehensive accessibility testing on websites, web applications, and mobile applications to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1, 2.2 and ARIA standards
  • Utilize Axe Deque tools, such as Axe Dev Tools and Axe Auditor, to identify accessibility barriers and document test results
  • Create detailed reports outlining accessibility issues, with clear recommendations for remediation
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to ensure that accessibility requirements are understood and met
  • Provide guidance and support to development teams on accessibility best practices
  • Participate in accessibility audits and assessments to maintain compliance with ADA, Section 508, and other accessibility regulations
  • Design, Develop, test scenarios and test cases for new components
  • Identify, isolate, regress and communicate defects effectively and efficiently
  • Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution
  • Preparing Summary Reports and suggested documents to improve the quality of the application
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from client stakeholders
  • Ability to take accountability and responsibility to deliver client commitments
  • Should be able to build good rapport with the team
  • Work with a team of automation & manual QA resources
  • Work Hours : 2PM to 11PM IST
