Role Overview :
As an Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant, you will be a key technical expert, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of integrations, reports, and customizations across our Oracle HCM Cloud platform. You will work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions. This role requires deep technical proficiency and hands-on experience in a variety of Oracle HCM Cloud technical tools, with a strong emphasis on integration and VBCS development.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Development :
- Design, develop, and maintain complex integrations using APIs, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), and other middleware, ensuring seamless data flow between Oracle HCM Cloud and other internal / external systems.
- Develop custom applications and enhance user interfaces using Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to extend Oracle HCM Cloud functionality.
- Create and maintain complex Fast Formulas for various HCM modules (e.G., Compensation, Absence, Benefits) to automate calculations and business rules.
- Utilize HCM Extracts to build and configure complex data outbound interfaces for downstream systems.
- Reporting and Analytics :
- Develop and customize reports using BI Publisher (BIP) to meet business reporting requirements.
- Create and maintain OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) analyses and dashboards to provide actionable insights into HR data.
- Implementation and Support :
- Serve as a technical lead in Oracle HCM Cloud implementation, upgrade, and support projects.
- Work closely with functional consultants and business users to gather and validate technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations, reports, and customizations.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for technical solution design and development.
- Domain Expertise and Collaboration :
- Apply deep knowledge of the Oracle HCM Cloud technical landscape to drive innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical processes and standards within the HR Technology team.
- Manage downstream integrations with Oracle HCM Cloud
- Knowledge on standalone Oracle databases with SQL and PL / SQL would be an added advantage
Required Qualifications and Experience :
Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Technical Consultant on the Oracle HCM Cloud platform.Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated technical experience in Oracle HCM Cloud development.Mandatory integration experience using APIs, and preferably with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Proficiency is a must in the following technical areas :HCM Extracts (building and maintaining complex extracts)Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) for extending Oracle HCM Cloud.Fast Formulas for various HCM modules.BI Publisher (BIP) Reports and OTBI Dashboards / Analyses.Prior experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain is preferred
