Role Details

We are looking for a dedicated Education Support Officer to join our supportive and collaborative teaching and learning team at St Joseph’s School Tranmere!

28.75 hours per week term time (8.45am to 3pm Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting students in small groups and 1 : 1 settings to support learning across all curriculum areas
• Supporting a safe, orderly, and successful learning environment through the implementation of behavioural management strategies
• Supervising and caring for students with formally identified special needs, following Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL)
• Providing support for students identified to require Continence Care support, such as students with disabilities, additional or special needs, providing personal care such as, but not limited to, continence care according to the needs of individual students
• Providing instruction to students within a structured learning environment
